The department of General Medicine at GDCHA is managed by a part time in charge Professor and two tutors. The department offers academics in the subject of General Medicine to third BDS students in accordance with the Dental Council of India’s syllabus and criteria. We conduct theory lectures and clinical classes. The department evaluates referred patients who require medical attention and also responds to medical emergencies in dental practice at various departments of GDCHA. The department conducts internal practical and theory examinations of third BDS students in General Medicine subject as per Gujarat University norms. We carry out various activities as assigned, such as the annual health check up of GDCHA employees in accordance with NABH policy.
